I was going to climb Santaquin Peak this morning. And then last night the world lit up like a giant Tesla ball. I went to bed early under depressed spirits, and woke hoping the storms had cleared. However, I checked weather conditions with another hiker/peak bagger friend of mine who said the safest thing to climb today is our stairs.
There's elevation sickness from getting too high. I think I have elevation sickness from being restricted to the valley floor. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm going to get the last six peaks in by the end of the season.
I should probably just find a good book and read the angst away.
