I woke up at 6:30 a.m. for this little four mile hike.
Depending on how well you know me I'll let you marvel on that.
During the hike I came to better understand why I love hiking solo.
I'm grateful for having found the new crew, and for the added
safety a group provides on elevations with which I'm unfamiliar.
Hiking is a very personal form of meditation for me, however.
And it is next to impossible to slip into that meditative trance
when it is necessary to pay attention and take part in conversation.
All in all, this means I am a real party pooper.
